Staff at CHC take an active role in finding ways to improve patient experiences, including something as seemingly simple as just checking in.
Last year, our technology team introduced Patient Kiosks. We are using kiosks at more and more of our sites to make it quicker and simpler to check-in when a patient arrives for an appointment.
Some of the underlying technology from our patient kiosks can be securely used to build a mobile check-in App, a first for a community health center. The app is currently being tested on the iPhone and will soon be tested on Android phones as well.
Using technology is just another way that CHC demonstrates its leadership in all efforts of health care, including improving all aspects of the patient experience.
