Part of the mission statement of Community Health Center, Inc. is “The Community Health Center, Inc. takes leadership in promoting interagency cooperation” and this week has started off with a sterling example.  Several leaders from the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Washington State visited CHC this week to share ideas about best practices in community health.

They visited our facilities in Middletown, Meriden and New Britain.  They joined in discussions about quality improvement, innovations, technology, residency programs and being a Patient Centered Medical Home.

CHC has a long standing relationship with YVFWC as well as other leading health centers around the country and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to share ideas with them.
