Saturday December 3rd, 2011, The Day Street Community Health Center hosted a holiday party for kids of Washington Village, a housing complex located directly across the street from the health center. We were excited to have 32 kids and their parents attend the party!  During the two hours, we provided a nutrition workshop, healthy snacks, interactive games, and face painting.  Dr. Brandon, a chiropractor/Yoga instructor, spoke about the benefits of good posture, from relieving pain to improving performance in school.  She then led the kids and their parents to a stretching activity. At the end, we provided giveaways for everyone in attendance!!
Lastly, the parents were able to learn about CHC through a guided tour led by Angelica Camacho.
