Community Health Center, Inc. Hosts the 18th Best Practices Forum
Community Health Center, Inc. is thrilled to host the 18th Best Practices Forum and engage in conversations around the issues affecting and changing health care. The Best Practices Forum brings together leaders from the most forward thinking community health center organizations for an annual conference to share ideas on how to improve health care delivery across the country. This two and a half day conference features speaker-led sessions and discussions around innovations and tactics that can help improve health center operations and outcomes in a rapidly changing world.
This year’s Best Practices will feature discussions about the ongoing health reform debate, advances in health care technology and social media in the health care field. We’ve lined up some of the country’s top speakers on these topics, from the Mayo Clinic, GE Capital and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice – just to name a few.
Starting things off Thursday morning will be Lee Aase, Director of the Mayo Clinic Center for Social media. He will be talking about Bringing the Social Media Revolution to Health Care: The Practice, Promises, and Pitfalls.
We plan on using a wide array of social media to help cover this forum, including Twitter, CoverItLive, YouTube, Facebook, and of course, this blog. For Twitter, we will be using the #CHCBPF hashtag, which will be captured in CoverItLive. We might even use Vimeo or even Google+. Later, on the blog, we will post summaries of the proceedings as well as videos of various presentations. Please follow, friend, subscribe and check back regularly during the conference.
