A message from Mark and Margaret to the CHC family:
This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, let me take a moment to thank each and every member of the CHC family for your work in helping us realize Dr. King’s dream. In his great “I have a dream” speech, Dr. King said,
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
Every day, we treat all our patients with the respect and dignity they deserve, independent of the color of their skin or their financial situation. Every day, we work on addressing that inequality that Dr. King labeled the most shocking and inhumane,
“Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.”
So let me thank each and every one of you for standing with the CHC family in striving for the sort of world Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of.
