Today, CHC staff participates in the 16th annual Stand Down, an event that provides free services, assistance and information to Connecticut Veterans. Our mobile dental staff is providing oral cancer screenings as well as doing cleanings and some restorative dental work.
The event is taking place at the State Veterans Home campus on West Street in Rocky Hill and free transportation is provided to veterans from across the state. Over 1000 veterans are expected to receive services this year.
