Text4Baby and WABC-TV

A little over a week ago, I wrote about the Text4baby: The State Enrollment Contest and now the first weeks statistics are available.  New Hampshire, Wyoming, West Virginia, Kansas and Vermont are leading the pack, with Connecticut currently ranked 32rd.  It looks like we’ve got a lot of work to do, but we’ve got some special resources.

On Saturday, May 21st , WABC-TV will air a special entitled, “Protect Our Children: Healthy & Fit” at 7 PM, EDT.  It sounds like the show is going to cover a bunch of topics, especially around childhood obesity, another topic very important to us at CHC.  However, it will also highlight Dr. J. Nwando Olayiwola and CHC’s involvement in the Text4Baby program.  Text4baby is a great program we should all be promoting and I expect the WABC-TV special, “Protect Our Children: Healthy & Fit” is a program we should all watch and tell our friends about.

If you’re going to watch it, please consider signing up on the Facebook Event Page we’ve created and letting your friends know.
